As of 2011, City Arts Magazine - in collaboration with the Art Walk Consortium - now accepts artwork submissions from officially participating art walk venues citywide for consideration in their quarterly Art Walk Awards!!! Scores of submissions are narrowed down to 6 finalists, which are then put to a popular vote in grand celebratory style. The winning artist claims $1000 and a profile in City Arts Magazine. The winner of the Spring 2011 Art Walk Awards was artist Jesse Higman for his painting "Bone Orchid".
